Consequences
Violations of the school-wide program will result in consequences assigned by the teachers and /or administration. Definitions of consequences for violation of Aiken Middle School-Wide Discipline Plan include:
 
Confiscation: Items that are prohibited by school rules can be taken by any staff member and will be returned in June unless deemed otherwise by administration.
 
Lunch Detention: A disciplinary action that requires a student to go to an assigned area and remain there for a specified length of time during lunch. Students will be given the opportunity to eat when assigned to lunch detention.

Suspension: Removal of a student from the regular classroom environment. (May be In-School Suspension or Out of School Suspension.)
